Art with Ratu Adil offers an inclusive, hands-on art experience that encourages people of all skill levels to explore materials, develop their artistic voice, and discover new ways to express themselves. Blending traditional drawing and painting techniques with nature-inspired processes, cultural art practices, and creative experimentation, Ratu creates a welcoming learning environment where art is more than a finished product—it is a journey of discovery, self-expression, and connection.
Rooted in her interdisciplinary practice and cross-cultural perspective, Ratu’s classes encourage curiosity, individual exploration, and learning through the process of making. Whether working with paint, fabric, botanical materials, or everyday objects, participants are invited to experiment freely, build confidence, and create work that reflects their own ideas and experiences.

Art Classes with Ratu Adil – Young Abled Adults Group (YAAG)
In collaboration with the Young Abled Adults Group of Fort Worth, Ratu Adil leads inclusive, hands-on art classes that encourage neurodiverse young adults to explore drawing, painting, and mixed-media techniques at their own pace. Through guided activities and creative experimentation, participants develop artistic skills, express their individuality, build confidence, and connect with others in a supportive community environment. The program celebrates each participant’s unique abilities while fostering self-expression, independence, and a sense of belonging through art.
The Young Abled Adults Group (YAAG) is a Fort Worth, Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It provides social opportunities, life-skills training, and community outings for neurodiverse young adults aged 18 to 40, while also offering guidance and support for their families.

Drawing and Painting
More than just an art class, Art with Ratu Adil is a welcoming space to gather, learn, experiment, and grow together through art.
Led by interdisciplinary artist and educator Ratu Adil, the classes encourage participants to discover their strengths, explore new techniques, and develop their artistic skills in a supportive, inclusive environment. Through drawing, painting, mixed media, and hands-on creative projects, participants are encouraged to experiment, exchange ideas, learn from one another, and share constructive feedback throughout their artistic journey.
Whether beginners or experienced artists, participants are welcomed to express their individuality, build confidence, and discover new possibilities through the creative process.

Batik Workshop for Beginner
Recognized by UNESCO in 2009 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Indonesian batik is a traditional textile art deeply rooted in Javanese culture and craftsmanship.
In Batik Workshop with Ratu Adil, participants explore the traditional Javanese batik-making process through a hands-on experience designed for beginners. Under Ratu’s guidance, participants select or create their own patterns and apply hot wax to cotton fabric using traditional tools, including the canting (a wax-drawing tool), stamps, or a combination of both.
Participants then explore the resist-dyeing process, discovering how wax and color interact to produce intricate patterns and distinctive designs. Once the wax is removed, each participant takes home a unique, handmade batik piece that celebrates their creativity and offers a meaningful connection to Indonesian cultural heritage.
The workshop combines cultural learning, artistic exploration, and traditional craftsmanship, inviting participants to experience the beauty of batik as both an art form and a living cultural tradition.
